Our story
From grandfather Gaetano's experience to today: four generations of farming in Sicily.
An extraordinary land
In Palermo's Conca d'Oro, on the historic estate of Princess De Curtis later bought by the Vitale family, the farm has produced citrus and olive oil for four generations. The olive groves are in Castelvetrano, in the province of Trapani: flat land whose soil and climate are especially kind to olive trees.

The beginning
It all began in the early 1900s with Gaetano Vitale, a man of great experience and deeply in love with his land. He grew citrus and olives, was among the first to export them abroad, and over the years passed all his passion on to his son Giuseppe.

Today
Sisters Alice and Laura devote themselves to the family business with enthusiasm and passion, carrying on their grandfather's work. Their goal is to grow the farm and share the produce of our Sicily in Italy and abroad.

The Belice Valley
In western Sicily, between the provinces of Palermo, Trapani and Agrigento, olives have been grown since the days of ancient Selinunte. Here, from the 18th century, the Nocellara del Belice was born: a large, flavourful olive, excellent both for the table and for oil.
